DESCRIPTION:********CANCELLED FOR 2017******* \nThis year the trip is slightly later than normal but will follow the same format as last year but with a few changes. \nThis is a social event and is a good mix of cycling\, beer and fun. \nWe normally meet at Bullands in Milngavie between 9-930 for some breakfast before heading off around 10 o’clock. Stopping in Drymen for a quick refreshment/food before riding on to Balmaha. \nAll in all it’s approximately 24 miles from Milngavie to Balmaha (then a few more to where we are staying) with options up over Conic Hill or there’s an alternative route for those who wish to cut out the climb and descent. \nAccommodation this year will be at the Ben Lomond Bunkhouse which sleeps 10 people at a cost of £20 per head. I’d proposed everyone pays £23 and this will allow me to buy breakfast for the next morning. \nAccommodation info here: http://www.nts.org.uk/Holidays/Accommodation/Ben-Lomond-Bunk-House-Ben-Lomond/ \nDinner and drinks will be at the Rowardennan Hotel just down the road. \nInfo here: http://www.rowardennanhotel.co.uk/ \nWe then cycling home on the Sunday along the same route\, cutting out Conic Hill (unless you want to go over it) section. \nI haven’t arrange baggage transfer this year as there are so few of us however if this is required I can book a taxi to take the bags.
