SUMMARY:Carron Valley/Cathkin Braes Double Header
DESCRIPTION:Like the best ideas it was formed in the pub\, with a beer in hand. \nMy plan is to ride a few laps of Carron Valley in the morning and then head over to Cathkin Braes in the afternoon.  It’s been ages since I was up at CV and I’ve not ridden at Cathkin yet so that’s one to tick off.  And I’ll be ending up back in the westend for a cold beer afterwards.  You’re welcome to join for either bit or both bits.  I can offer a lift for x1 from the West End.  The routes are trail centre so should be holding up OK in the recent wet weather.  Typically red level ability\, with the odd black option at Cathkin I believe.  If you’re new to biking then don’t worry\, it’ll be relaxed with an option to practice stuff if you want to. \nPlan is as follows: \n\n10am – ready to ride at Carron Valley\n1pm – leave CV\, head to Cathkin Braes\n2pm – ready to ride at Cathkin Braes\n5pm or whenever we’ve had enough – leave Cathkin and head back to the Westend for a cold drink\n\nPost up here if you’re interested.  If you want a lift then access the Members page and look for my email or mobile if you don’t already have it.
