SUMMARY:Dales Cycles MTB & E-bike Demo Day (Cathkin Braes)
DESCRIPTION:From Kieran at Dales Cycles: \nEvent sign up via Eventbrite \nCome have a go on some of the latest bikes from Scott\, Specialized and Giant. We will have a selection of the 2017 mountain bike and e-bike models from each manufacturer available to ride around the full 5.5km loop at Cathkin Braes. With staff on hand to talk you through the models and set up the bikes ready for your test ride. \nWe will be running the day in two halfs\, a morning session and an afternoon session. Please make sure you select the ticket for the time of day you wish to attend. Feel free to book one of each if you’d like to stay for the whole day. \nWhat to bring \n\nThis is a free event but due to limited spaces\, we ask that you fill in the registration form prior to attending and print off the ticket which will be emailed to you. Please bring this along with you and present it to one of the Dales staff when you arrive.\nFor security purposes. please bring along a photographic proof of ID (Drivers license\, Passport etc) and a bank card. You will need a combination the two to secure a ride.\nRemember to bring your helmet\, which is essential to be able to test ride a bike\, along with any riding gear you would usually wear.\n\nWhat’s on? \n\nThe main event is the demo day\, your chance to come and try out some fancy new bikes.\nWe will have a GoPro to strap to anyone willing for a lap of the course\, we hope to make a short video after the event so here’s your chance for a few seconds of fame! There’s a tick box on the registration form for anyone up for this.\nThere will be bunny hop competition in the carpark with prizes for winners. This will be held at around 1pm.
