DESCRIPTION:Posted by myself on behalf of Simon Simpson \nPLEASE IGNORE OUR CALENDAR TIMES AND FOLLOW THE TIMES LISTED BELOW AND ON JOHNSTONE WHEELERS WEBSITE \nHi\, \nIf \,like me\, you haven’t ridden a hundred miles in a day for a while and think its time\, with seven weeks to go before this ride\, that you put in a few miles then lets get organised. \nGerry and I were going to do the don smith memorial ride next sunday from lochwinnoch. There’s a hardcore 70 miler and a shorter 45er or so which we will do. Costs eight pounds with money going to brave heart cycling fund . Don is the dad of Brian smith who rode for Motorola with lance Armstrong on the nineties. Brian now commentates on Eurosport . Gerry and I will be riding out to Johnstone and riding the rest of the way on the cycle path to make it a quite flat ninety miles. South eiders could join @ Johnstone or drive down. Pace 15-16 mph.
