Glentress Trail Centre (Red/Blue)
January 11, 2014 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
Hi. I’m planning a relaxed and sociable ride on some of the best man-made trails the country has to offer (and a post-ride tea/coffee). It won’t be a fast ride (for me at least). I’m planning on doing the red with chunks of blue trail. Depending on who turns up I’m happy to spend some time sessioning or practicing skills or split the ride if faster riders want to shred the gnarr (or whatever they do).
Meet in the car park at 09:30 for a 10am depart. Post up here if you’re coming so we can arrange lifts. Although it’s a generally weather proof trail, if it’s stormy or a blizzard we may need to review closer to the time. Although it’s a trail centre the usual advice stands; no helmet no ride, bring spares/tools/food, dress appropriately for the weather etc.
Pencil me in for this… :o)
Hi John – great stuff.
Hi Graham, I plan to make it along (as long as weather doesn’t look too bad!). Cheers, Alden
Oops just realised I’ve got something else on this Saturday at 1pm so unfortunately won’t be able to make it afterall.
I’m up for it, see you there.
Count me in. Leaving from Erskine if anybody needs a lift.
Right then – it looks like Al, Tom, John & myself. I’ll be picking John B up just after 8am, aiming to be down there just after 9:30am. The forecast is looking good for Peebles – the camera is charging and I’ll have it on the “gnarr” setting tomorrow so all the photos will look awzum!
