DESCRIPTION:Friday UPDATE: The weather doesn’t look ideal\, but then it isn’t that bad either. So to take advantage of the quieter trails I’ll be getting the 0945 ferry tomorrow. Meet at 0915 outside the ferry terminal office. Take warm and suitable kit for a wintery day on the hill. \nI was walking up this recently and thought it would a really decent bike ride. Infact it has even made it into Vol. 2 of the Scotland Wild Trails Book. Clearly it will not be possible for mortals to ride all the way up (or down)\, but from around 700m to the bottom would make a cracking descent for most people. \nMeet at Ardrossan at 0915\, ditch cars and get the 0945 from Ardrossan to Brodick \nHead up Goat Fell\, and ride back down again \nEnergy dependent\, there are lots of other trails around Brodick or a beer / coffee / cake and the ferry back (1610 or 1855). \n
