SUMMARY:Mugdock Trail Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:Trail maintenance day confirmed – 18th December @ 9.45am. Meeting point is at Milngavie golf club and we will walk to the trail from there. No special skills required and Maggie the ranger will provide all the necessary tools . I would definitely recommend some warm clothing\, gloves\, waterproofs and boots. Milngavie golf club kindly agreed that we can use the car park and the full clubhouse facilities. Postcode is G62 8EP. If you’re arriving by train it’s a bit of a walk from Milngavie.. you could always bring your bike \n\nWe have 8-10 GMBCers confirmed so far (thanks) we can take up to 15 so let me know if anyone else is interested in helping.\n\n**NatureScot who monitor the condition of the SSSI in the area are concerned about the\nbraiding of the paths along the Allander Water and at NS 54595 76384 which\nlooks to be Rocky Rooty. Maggie would like us to concentrate on the riverside\npath this time but would be interested to discuss Rocky Rooty with the\ngroup.\n
