DESCRIPTION:Set the date\, start & estimated finish times\, choose an event category from over there (or one that fits the ride best)  –>\nLook through the list of event locations & organisers\, if it exists then select it.  If it doesn’t then create it.\nEnter a cost if it’s an organised event.\nEnter an “excerpt” – this is a short sentence or 2 to sell the ride\n\nWhat to include in the event details itself – a good description is essential: \n\nestimate the distance & duration of the ride\ndescribe the trail: fireroad\, singletrack \, moors\, rocky\, trail centre\, any techy sections\, is it exposed/wild?  are there water crossings?  how much climbing?\nfacilities: is there a cafe stop\, will people need to bring extra food & water\nequipment: do people need anything specific? eg. body armour\, extra clothing\nsell the ride to your clubmates – what’s great about it?  why do you enjoy it?\nand finally….. no helmet\, no ride! non-negotiable.  Do you want to be responsible for a head injury?\n\nThen\, click Publish to add the event to the calendar.  It doesn’t create a post on the front page unless you stick one up yourself – if you do\, then include a link to the event in the post. \n
