SUMMARY:Whangie (Queen's View) Evening Ride
DESCRIPTION:I don’t think we’ve done this for a while so suggesting it for next week. It’s a goode ride to do on these lighter evening. \nPlan is to leave M&B at 7pm sharp and head out the WHW and through some of the trails at Carbeth. Depending on the group\, we can either head up the road to the Queen’s View car park or cut through the reservoirs and up the back way (a bit tougher). The descent from the trig point back down is good in the daylight\, and any tricky bits can be walked if necessary. The views can be spectacular! \nIt should take between 2 and 3 hrs. Tea and biscuits after at the club hall. \nAs this route is a bit longer than some Tuesday rides I’ll be starting at 7 so we get daylight to return. Worth taking a set of light just incase! \nTom
