SUMMARY:Social Pub Crawl(Day Out)
DESCRIPTION:After the success of last years pub social event\, Sat 30th June has been chosen to give it another go this year. As before\, the idea is to enjoy an easy going day out on the bikes catching up on gossip and perhaps a couple of pints along the way (Other drinks are available). Starting from the usual car park in Milngavie at 10am and heading to Carbeth for breakfast\, we move on to Blane Valley \,Swan Inn(Lunch stop?)\,Kincaid House\,The Stables\,Wheatsheaf and then home at around 7pm ish. Feel free to join or leave the ride at any point or stay from start to finish and earn a reputation. Hands up if you plan to be there so that we can get an idea of numbers. See You There\, Davie H.

SUMMARY:GMBC Summer BBQ
DESCRIPTION:Bikes\, Beers & Burgers! \nThe unreliable Scottish summer and clouds of midges are upon us which means it’s time to make wildly optimistic plans for some outdoor socialising in the form of the now-traditional GMBC Summer BBQ!! \nAh\, the smell of Skin-So-Soft and burnt sausages\, it can only mean one thing! It’s the GMBC Summer BBQ.Small print: Artist’s representation. Quality of actual BBQ may vary. \nThe eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that we have cunningly planned the BBQ to co-incide with the end of the 30th June Social Ride/pub crawl at 7pm.  So\, why not head out for the social ride and finish up in Mugdock for some hot food and (more) cold drinks in the evening?  Here’s some info on the event: \n\nWe’ve booked the Gallowhill BBQ pitch this time\nWe have the pitch from 6pm onwards\, so feel free to head along from then on\nPlease post up to advise if you are coming so we can get an idea for planning the food/drink\nAs in previous years\, the Club will be providing the basics (burgers\, something for the veggies (lettuce?)\, buns\, sauces\, some drinks/beers\, marshmallows etc) but if there’s anything specific you want to eat/drink then BYO.\nThe car park at Mugdock is open until 9pm.  After this time it will be locked up.  We’re allowed at the BBQ pitch after this time just that anyone with a car will need to move it out onto the main road.\n\nIf you have any questions let us know.  Hope to see you all there.  Cheers.
