St Patrick’s Day Road Ride

mild sufferingRoad ride from Milngavie out to Loch Katrine and back. (66 MILES)
Pace will be fast touring pace i.e. 15 mph average. Leaving Milngavie 9.15
Slower riders will always be waited on at the top of any rises
( ride motto : The weak need love and respect…)
Main option
(ready to actually leave at 9.15 – not the ‘ just about ready to put the wheels on your bike, adjust the headset while eating your bacon roll kind of 9.15 departure’ (Ride sub-motto “Leave the late”)
over the stockiemuir to Drymen (cafe stop at drymen @ 10 a.m. – 10.15)
over the hill to aberfoyle (11 a.m.)
30 mile circular route – over the dukes and onto the Lock Katrine traffic free water board road
return to Aberfoyle by 2pm and over to Drymen by 2.45 (cafe stop) then home in milngavie by 4.15 pm

Milngavie, Campsie Glen, Crow Road, Fintry, Kippen, Thornhill, Aberfoyle , Katrine Loop , Aberfoyle , Drymen, Milngavie,
Approx 100 miles – should probably leave a bit earlier.
Be good to see folks even on the Aberfoyle Katrine 30 miles
