Friday Night MTB – Hilly Training!
Hi Folks, Weather is looking descent on Friday, so I'm going to do an evening ride. Option decided is option 1: A Dumyat Alternative- 5.30pm departure from near Co-Op, Bridge of All. A bigger more XC route with some "secret" singletrack than the traditional up n down, about 20km, but can add on. A pint in the Brewhouse after.... Post up if you interested, so Graham and I know to come get you.

It’s steep, rocky and potentially midge infested but it’s a classic nonetheless. Involving a big chunk of hike-a-bike upwards from Rowardennan expect a rough, rocky (black + grade) trail with large drainage ditches and rock staircases and switchbacks in places. Knee/elbow pads suggested (and obviously a crash helmet!!). Pack a spare tube or 2 as we had a few punctures last time. Heading to Glencoe / KLL tomorrow morning for 9.30/9.45, ready to ride at 10am . A few of us are planning on meeting at the Aberfoyle car park to ride the trails on the hill above Aberfoyle, ready to ride at 7pm. Likely riding for 2-3 hours so pack a light as it can get dark in trees. We'll be sticking fairly close to Aberfoyle but it will be steep ups and steep downs.
