Hi, I haven't ridden around Glencoe / KLL for a while so fancy heading up there this Saturday. Plan is to start in the car park at Altnafeadh (Link to map) and head up the Devil's Staircase. Depending on conditions and who's riding on the day there are several options, including the Ciaran path or other descents. The riding will be in difficult and remote terrain, with rocky trails, big climbs and hike a bike. A good level of fitness is required for this…

Hi, I took a walk up this at the weekend and it reminded me that I've been meaning to do it on the bike. The plan is to park in Arrochar and ride / push / hike up the path towards The Cobbler & Ben Narnain before turning round and riding back down. We're talking home made onion relish and artisan roles here. It would be…

Hi folks, With the increase in MAMILs during Le tour, I'd thought we should offset this unnatural phenomenon with some hairy mountain bikers on skinny tyres. Weather is looking good, so I'm planning a 35 ish miles route (56 km) starting from the club house promptly at 6.30pm this Thursday 17th July. Sorry, but this is only open to individuals with a road/cross bike, keeping pace on a mtb will be very difficult. Aiming at a group riding speed of 15-17mph…

3rd in an unoffical series of midweek away rides: Glentress! Meet at the Peel Centre Carpark 7pm ready to ride. I'll be parking in Peebles in the car park beside the tweed thus skillfully avoiding the £5 parking charge! Likely ride the red route, or a red/black combination.
