Part of the Tweedlove Festival, it’s “a seven hour MTB race for individuals and teams of two or three, with the emphasis on great trails and a ton of fun – the route will feature some fantastic trail riding, and normally unavailable sections of great singletrack. The event is aimed at all levels of mtb rider, and you can go as hard or easy if you like. ”

So, as far as I know, teams that are entered are Dene and Kev, Ruairidh G and his 2 brothers and now Stuart & myself and Robin’s entered as a solo rider. Anyone else? Barry? Tony?
Does anyone fancy making a weekend of this? Not necessary for other folks to enter the GT7 event but there’s plenty of other riding down there to keep you entertained, good road riding too. We could do some natural local rides on the Sunday and perhaps the Monday. I’ve got a few other routes in mind or I’m happy to host the Innerleithen/Selkirk ride again.
I’m hoping to get a camping space at the Rosetta campsite in Peebles. I might also have a quick scout about for hostel accommodation. Shout up if you’re interested.
Here’s my plans (slightly different from previous communications). Staying here http://www.rosettacaravanpark.co.uk/ Fri and Sat nights with Becky. Apparently they won’t take arrivals after 9pm and I only finish work at 7 so I’ll be belting down the road. Hoping to also stay Sunday and maybe Monday nights in a hostel or at the site. Would be interested in hostel/bunk house accommodation for all or some of the weekend.
