Hi Jonathon, take a look on YouTube for videos of the red downhill and see what you think. I’ve never ridden it myself. I think it’s meant to be quite tricky in some places but after a few runs you’ll be more confident. Knee and elbow pads might be useful. If it looks too much then there’s lots of other good trails at the Nevis Range. Sunday will be fine for your bike.
Hi Graham, yep I think I have a pretty good idea of what the track looks like (watchin POV, this is peaty, world cup, article this month in MBUK, etc…). I think at first I should walk the track to pick up lines I can ride, so we can maybe split into two groups at this point. I have an enduro-style body armor by Bliss, armour gel and knee pads in the same material. Pretty nice it’s light and breathable but still protects elbows, shoudlers and back.
I have a 120mm full suss, what do you think about me joining?
