Glentress Trail Centre

Join GMBC for a play about on the trails at Glentress. There’s various options to suit everyone; skills loop, blue, red, black or the enduro/off-piste options. A few of us will be staying over to take part in the Bowhill Duathlon the following day – post up if you’re interested in making a weekend of it.
I’d be interested on riding in Glentress, if anyone has extra space in the car, and is planning to return the same day, I could share the fuel. Thanks

It’s confirmed. I have a day pass for Glentress even though it’s on Saturday and not Sunday as I had initially thought.
You’ll need to be gentle though I haven’t been out on my bike for bloody ages.
Hi – I’ll be going but I’m staying over as I’ve got the duathlon at Selkirk the next day. Stuart: I’ll also be taking it easy, not wanting to burn myself out for Sunday’s event. I’ll be sticking to the red/blue routes.
I’ll bring my unicycle for the black then 😉

Hi Richard, sorry, but I’m going to bail from the GT ride, not risking the drive down tomorrow morning. Just been out in the snow and the car is all over the place.
Looking at the forecast for overnight and Saturday morning. Met Office is predicting light to heavy snow from around 21:00 tonight to 09:00 tomorrow morning. Given that the last time I went to GT it was snowing and the riding was not great I think I might be giving this a miss. Might just to Ardgarten on Sunday.
