Kirroughtree weekend 11th-12th July

…As it says on the tin! Planning to head down on Saturday morning for 10ish, ride Kirroughtree red/black, camp nearby (maybe wild?) then something a bit more gentle in the same place/nearby on Sunday.
If you don’t know much about KT, basically all you need to know is it’s awesome. Great mix of red/black and one of the real hidden gems of the 7stanes. What Glentress wishes it was, without the crowds? Anyway, well worth the 2hr trip from Glasgow.
Post up if you’re keen and we’ll work out some details.

Haha, I was plsnning to suggest something similar for that weekend, although I was thinking the reverse: Mabie on the Saturday (easy ride, late start), stay over (camp @ Marthrown?), and Kirroughtree on Sunday.
Good stuff – we’ll see who else is in and figure something out. I’m fairly set on KT for Saturday – new bike frame came from the shop there so it seems a fitting first outing!
Assuming you are still riding Kirroughtree on Saturday I’m tempted to head down for the day. Don’t think I’ll manage a full weekend away.

Due to my yesterday’s OTB on Cobbler descent I won’t be able to go with you. Hopefully Chris recorded my OTB on his GoPro :)…as my bike was flaying like a slingshot bullet landing on a huge rock 10m below the trail…and miraculously it survived without any dents, scratchers and wheel/disc rotors bends 🙂 – which doesn’t apply to my hands and lip after harsh rock kiss 🙂
So have a fun…hopefully I’ll be fully recovered before Fort William trip.
Guys, really sorry – also gonna have to bail.. Knee injury is refusing to go away and a little spin round the park last night properly re-inflamed it. I’m swapping trail centre for physio 🙁
