Once again, a great event to ride. The course must be one of the most scenic in the UK, and the weather miraculously gave us some stunning views and lighting to enjoy as we pedalled the route. Quiet roads and wonderfully enthusiastic support teams at the HQ and feed stations made it a day to remember. With only 2 road junctions to negotiate must be one of the easiest rides to navigate, means that routefinding is just not an issue. Thanks to David, Dave and everyone else for putting on a great event.

I am thinking about this…. but never ridden 100 miles in one go, but reckon if I take my time, I should manage it as can do 60 without too much pain.
Anyone else thinking about it and want to join me for a steady paced ride (I doubt Al and Chris would go at my speed!) to enjoy the scenery?
Go for it Sam
It will be a steady pace to enjoy the scenery and we will get you round your first 100
Hi,
After yesterday’s Audax, I am not ready for the 100 just yet. Managed a very hilly 65miles but last 15 were tough. Ask Al! One to aim for next year!
yip, there’s always next year, Ryz says it’s fairly flat tho….
Go for it Sam…!
We were hoping to go, but don’t think we can do that date now. Looks like a nice route though.
