Hi,

Plan is to do an evening ride starting from Luss.

The plan is to head up the Glen Luss road (tarmac) and through Glen Mollochan, returning via Glen Douglas and the cycle path along Loch Lomond. Apart from Glen Mollachan, the route is on road or good tracks. Glen Mollochan is quite short and a mixture of rough track followed by a few km of grassy downhill bog-fest. It should be fun at the moment as it’s been pretty dry. That said, a sense of humour may be required. The scenery is fantastic, it feels as remote as anywhere in Scotland once you’re in the confines of Glen Mollochan.

Meet at the Luss Pier, ready to ride at 7pm. Bring midge repellent. All being well there will be time for a shandy in Luss afterwards.

There is nothing demanding technically on this ride, although moderate fitness will be required to stay ahead of said midges. Any questions or queries about the ride please ask.
