Aberfoyle?

We can’t make it to Arran this weekend (hope the weather stays good!), but for those  who won’t be in Arran or pedalling for Scotland, we’re planning to ride in Aberfoyle on Sunday. The options are mtb (Glen Finglas or other) or cross bike ride around Loch Katrine. Post up if you’d like to join us!

    Hi,
I’m up for something, and this is nice and close! Think I’d prefer MTB, but if everyone else up for x-ride, can do that too. Think my preference would be Menteiths in reverse, as have found a few alternative options as Forrestry have wrecked the single track section.

  2. Hi- I’m up for a ride on Sunday, and would prefer an mtb ride as I don’t have a cross bike….. suppose I could use my mtb, but only have my full suss as my steel hardtail is now a write off – integral gear hanger is totally knackered. In the process of setting up another hardtail.

  3. OK, the Menteiths in reverse it is…10.30 start from the main car park in Aberfoyle?

sounds perfect to me! see you then.
p.s. you sticking up on the Calender too? this weekend offers lots of choice!

  5. Hi guys, I’m up for this to. I planned on going to Arran for a day ride tomorrow but given the forcast I’m giving it a miss! So see you all at 10.30am. Cheers

  6. Sorry should have asked how long we’ll be out roughly as have to organise some stuff for Sunday afternoon/evening? Cheers

  7. Hi Alden,
Probably around 4 hours I reckon. There’s lots of options around Aberfoyle for shortcuts or extra loops. See you then, Alison

  8. Hi Alison, thanks for that. That suits me fine. Haven’t been up around Aberfoyle on MTB before so looking forward to it. See you then. Cheers, Alden

  9. Hi all – I have a ‘wretched’ man cold (I’ll be straight off to bed after Strictly Come Dancing tonight!), a real blighter, so I’ll have to see how I feel tomorrow morning. If I’m not up to it I’ll see you next time – Nigel
