Alpine Club Night

If you’re planning on any events, races or expeditions perhaps this is the chance to make those purchases. NB: this is the day before the Ballater weekend away trip so it’s an ideal chance to stock up.
NB: Alpine Club Night on a Thursday, rather than a Tuesday.
I’m thinking of heading along to this. Do I just rock up and go through the door? No secret handshake or rolling a trouser leg up?
No secret handshakes required. You can roll up a trouser leg if you like, they’ll just think you’re a hipster on a fixie.

Got a bit more info from Jon earlier today on how the club night will operate.
– He’s looking to offer a better discount on the night (15% on parts, rather than 10%. Think there is also a better discount on bikes too). And if you contact Alpine with the items you’re looking to buy in advance, they can order them in and you can pick them up on the night and get the benefit of the extra discount when you pay for them (this will also apply if you can’t make it on the night and wish to pick the stuff up after the club night).
– There will be some promo products on sale at a discount (specific brands/products TBC).
– You will be able to buy a Tiso discount card for half price (£10) which gets you 10% off in Tisos, even on sale stuff.
Update: Confirmed by Jon @ Alpine. The discount on parts will be 20% on the night (not 15% as stated above) and the discount on bikes on the night will be 10% (rather than the usual 5%). NB: the 10% discount may not apply to bike already in the Alpine sale (which started today).
