This year the trip is slightly later than normal but will follow the same format as last year but with a few changes.

This is a social event and is a good mix of cycling, beer and fun.

We normally meet at Bullands in Milngavie between 9-930 for some breakfast before heading off around 10 o’clock. Stopping in Drymen for a quick refreshment/food before riding on to Balmaha.

All in all it’s approximately 24 miles from Milngavie to Balmaha (then a few more to where we are staying) with options up over Conic Hill or there’s an alternative route for those who wish to cut out the climb and descent.

Accommodation this year will be at the Ben Lomond Bunkhouse which sleeps 10 people at a cost of £20 per head. I’d proposed everyone pays £23 and this will allow me to buy breakfast for the next morning.

We then cycling home on the Sunday along the same route, cutting out Conic Hill (unless you want to go over it) section.

I haven’t arrange baggage transfer this year as there are so few of us however if this is required I can book a taxi to take the bags. Please advise if you would prefer this when adding your name to the list, we will go with majority.

Please note I have to confirm the accommodation on Wednesday the 18th of January so please add your name before then if you are interested. However note that once you add your name you are confirmed as coming and will be expected to pay your money or find a replacement.
