Sunday is Mother’s Day, so it’s probably not a good idea for me to ride then ;-). Does anyone fancy a local ride (or 4-5 hour all-in ride somewhere else) on Saturday instead?
Currently plan is for moderate pace (I don’t go much faster) but with few stops. Setting off from the hall carpark at 9.
Open to suggestions for changes.
Does anyone fancy a ride up Beinn Ime, beside the Cobbler, Arrochar within the next few weeks? excluding this weekend. I would be tempted to take a day off work to avoid the walkers.
Hiked up the Cobbler last Saturday and started thinking about trying to ride up Beinn Ime (or a whack of it) next time. I reckon most of it is rideable to the Cobbler junction just past the Narnain Boulders, and after speaking to some folk a good portion of Beinn Ime should be ok too.
Saturdays or Sundays would work with a bit of advance planning. We could even think about grabbing a Crown Carvey on the way back (£3.59 Mon – Sat, ~£5.50 Sundays – Milton (across from Little Chef Garage) nr Dumbarton. The vegetarians could stay outside and watch the bikes…
If Ryszard goes then I might even treat him to a £3.59 carvery for doing such a fantastic job on the site.
Cheers
Gerry
Beinn Ime sounds good to me, not sure if I can do next week, let me know how you get on or if you reschedule it
