The weather looks questionable for the rest of the week, so I’m making the most of it tonight.
I’ll be at the club car park for 7pm should anyone care to join me.

Headed out from the club car park and bumped into Groundskeep John and Sheila in the town centre. Met up with Eilidhs two friends (Emma & Laura) at the visitor centre and met Dene at the Drumclog car park. Ventured over to Loch Ardinning, it’s the driest I’ve ever seen it, and the trails overall are riding beautifully.
We weren’t out for too long, I finished up at 9pm. That was my first proper ride back on the mtb in 3 mths, and it was great to get off the tarmac and hit the trails…my lower back felt it though.
Bumped into a few of the meet up riders, some of them members of our FB page. A nice bunch who were heading out to the pub after their ride…I remember those days on a Tuesday night. It’s probably why I’ve lost my beer belly 😉
Looking forward to regular weekly club rides again and maybe an “isotonic shandy” afterwards.
