The summer BBQ is fast approaching. All club members, their partners and children all welcome to come along for some burgers, chat and midges sunshine. Please post up here, on fb or email if you are coming along to help me get the right supplies in. I’ll sort out burgers and some other goodies but it would be great if folk could bring some of their own creations to share as well.

For the sensible ones who’re not on facebook, there has been some controversy regarding the image above. The background image is of a diesel fire, in which no one was injured. Next time I’ll be sure to use a plain beige background and circulate to all club members first to gauge the level of outrage.

I think you should hand in your resignation and step down from the committee for this outrage. You will be ejected from the club forever more…made to join a lesser club and your bikes are to be taken from you. You will be made to ride a steel Apollo from the 90’s! – just remembered…do you not already have one of those?! 😉
I’m drafting my resignation as we speak Barry. I do have a rigid steel Raleigh circa 1990 with canti brakes, will that do?
