Hi Iain. I’m up for this but I can’t find the details of ‘the old post’. Were they put out on facebook? I take it departure is 0730 from the Wemyss bay train station/ferry terminal?
Sorry…I’m giving this a miss guys, just can’t find the motivation to get back on the road bike.
I finally got back on the mtb yesterday after almost 3 months off it for LEJOG training and bloomin’ loved it.
I’m seeking out some trails next weekend…might do Glentress 😉
So far this is loooking like a maybe. Seems to be around half a dozen up for it, although with the fragmented nature of WP and FB it’s impossible to have a single roll call – there must be an easier way, surely……
Forecast is warm, with periods of wet, and little wind.
Lets make the final call on Fri. I’ll copy and paste this post onto the FB thread too 🙂
Barry Mears – Sunday 4th Aug for me. Besides the weather doesn’t look that great for this Sunday and the 5 Ferries has to be enjoyed with the sun on yet back
Forecast is changing all the time but if it shows 17-19*C with very light winds then I don’t mind getting warm rain showers on the way. Lets see how much the forecast changes by this time tomorrow?
forecast at 6.20pm today shows a Sunday forecast for Bute and Arran at 18*C and sunny after 9am(possible showers between6-9am) with 8-10mph winds. Is it a GO?
