This is a great loop if decent weather, so posting up to see who’d be up for it, if it stays settled. Starts and finishes Ardgarten car park, it’s ideal for cx bikes or HT’s and here’s the route :

With a group it’s probably 4 hrs away from the car park, incl a food stop. There is nowhere to buy food , so need to be self sufficient. Ride depart at 0930 sharp
There are places to get lunch in Lochgoilhead, certainly saved us when trudging around in the snow earlier this year :~) Just head for the holiday park, there are a couple of pubs and a shop.
aye, that’s a good point. I tend not to head there as it’s a bit of a diversion. On a nice day a 10 minute sandwich break on the seats at the shore at Lochgoilhead car park is good enough for me 🙂
I agree entirely! I’d join you, but there’s an SMBO on this Sunday.
I did it yesterday and two weeks ago. I’d recommend a start point at car park at the end of fire road higher and closer to Corron Lochan – less climbing.
At this stage its looking unlikely as no interested folks here or on FB. Will check back Sat. If I go I’ll be parking at the car park at Ardgarten. Thanks
