Cateran Trail 7th or 8th October
Yes, it’s a bit like busses, trying to fit mtb rides in before the clocks change and I have the car this weekend, so I have space for 2.
Its a 64mile walking trail, but with plenty of bail out options. I suggest, weather permitting, starting at Blairgowrie at 9am ready to ride, alternatively there are bunkhouses at Spittal of Glenshee

Monday Mugdock?
Monday’s weather is looking a better bet than Tuesday’s so in the spirit of namby pamby, fair-weather cycling is anyone up for a quick spin around the usual suspects in Mugdock tomorrow (Mon 10/04)? I could do a 6.30 meet no problem but might not suit anyone else so can be flexible with the time. 7pm would be the latest though. Back home by 8.30. Any takers?

Best local downhill
To continue the ‘Summer’ season wednesday away rides, Dave Ashton and I were thinking of descent off Slackdhu down to Cantywheery on the pipe track. Last week we did Helensburgh to Duntocher on the John Muir Way.
So it is, out towards Killearn then up the back of Dumgoyne, then across the top to Slackdhu
Leaving at the Blanefield War Memorial at 7.30 sharp. I will be riding out from Bearsden

Carn Ban Mor / Laggan
If anyone fancies it I’m heading up tomorrow (Sat 9th) to do (weather and stream heights permitting) Carn Ban Mor and then drive across to play at Laggan for a while.
I will be setting off at 10am prompt (with some food) from the car park up Glen Feshie. Post here if you are interested. I have one space in the car currently, free petrol for anyone that comes along as I’m just running an errand really.
I need to be done by 4pm as I’m picking my daughter up at the cafe in Laggan at that time.
