Bike travel bags

Does anyone have any advise on good bike travel bags? Or even better anyone got one for sale?

    Rob, dont mean to hijack your post but interested to hear how you get on. I need a couple of bags for a trip to the alps next June. May beg steal or borrow nearer the time.

    I’ve been using the Evoc bag after giving up on cardboard boxes. It’s quite pricey, but when I compared it to the others it was easier to justify. It’s very well thought designed, protects the bike well and collapses down flat for storage. Merlin were doing them for £230 a while back which seemed to be the cheapest. I think I remember you saying you lived quite near me so if you want to have a look at it in the flesh give me a shout. It’s not for sale sadly, it’s getting used next week!
