It’ll appear on the calendar soon but we’re planning a weekend away down in the Borders on Sat 23rd and Sun 24th Aug. The plan is to book hostel accommodation but space is limited so it’s on a first come first served basis. We have 3 interested so far and the hostel said they only had 9 spaces so post up here if you want to come. If you can post up in the next day or 2 that would be good. If we have more people than spaces in the hostel then I can suggest a few campsites locally. The plan is:
- Innerleithen red trail on Saturday, but save some energy for….
- A big natural ride near Selkirk on Sunday (red mainly, with some black sections)
Of course, if you can’t come for the weekend then just come along for one of the days. NB: The Sunday ride will depart from Selkirk so allow plenty of time and it may be an early start to pack in all the trails.

Sure, put me down for this too. Selkirk’s a great area to ride in and I know Graham has gleaned plenty of route ideas from his various Marathon rides down there so it should be a good one.

Hi folks. OK, that’s a request sent to the hostel for 7 beds. They said they had 9 beds available but that was 6 days ago. I’ll wait to see what space is available before chasing you for money. If they don’t have space for everyone it will be on a first come first served basis as follows:
