Tom, Reuben & myself made use of last nights crackin’ weather and squeezed into tight-fitting lycra for a brief road ride around our neighborhood. We managed 21 miles at an average speed of 16mph and had to call it a day around 8pm as the light was fading fast…..
This short blast has reignited the fun I had on the 5 Ferries last year and I hate to say this, but I’d rather go for a road ride this Sunday than a blast on the trails (before I’m lynched, I still favour my mountain bike, I just want a wee change).
So….does anyone fancy joining me for an early ride on Sunday? I’m not too fussed where, it can be South Side if folk are keen. I was thinking of a prompt 9am start and finish around 1pm with a mandatory coffee stop at some point near the end.

I’d be up for a ride early Sunday. There was a route around the Clyde valley I’ve been meaning to do if you fancy that? I have it in a book somewhere, sounds about the right length it’s supposed to be a bit of a hill-fest though!
Depending on time, location and distance i could be up for this.
So plan at the moment is a 30 something mile ride from club carpark leaving 9 am prompt. anyone else up for it ?
