Hi all,
As previously posted, the course is scheduled to run on the following 4 Monday’s – 16th, 23rd & 30th of April & 7th of May. It’s being held at GTG Training in South Street, Scotstoun, Glasgow G14 0BJ (across the road from the old Yarrows ship yard, now known as BAE Systems). Course starts prompt at 6pm each night & will finish at 9pm.
I have the following members confirmed – Myself, Graham, Dene, John Bennie, Chris Johnstone, Luke, Sanny, Ryszard, Phil, Reuben, Grant and Rob Rankin (Rob is still to confirm). If Rob can’t make it, they’ll be one space available to another club member.
The cost is £35 and this is due on the first night of the course. Please wear comfortable clothes, the instructor is recommending outdoor gear – no need for full cycle clothing and no pink Assos! Also bring along your backpacks with contents that you ride with, as the instructor will be showing us some handy trail first aid with its contents.

Hi Barry – sounds fine. Thanks for organising this, some excellent training at a great price. It’ll be good to learn some new skills that I’m sure I’ll have a chance to put to good use if my record of falling off the bike this year is anything to go by!
Due to some upcoming interviews a couple of those evenings are a bit inconvenient for me now. If anyone wants a place then they can have mine, otherwise I’ll do my best to make it.

You can bring your bike inside the building, no need for a lock as there is a security guard.
