Did anyone make it to Carron Valley last night? Wondering how the trails have faired after the storms?

    I had a committee meeting to go to so wasn’t riding last night but the latest from the Forestry Commission doesn’t look good:

    I think Eilidh was up there after the storms and said the only bit really rideable is the Runway section.

    there was some chat on STW about it, and as Graham says a lot of tree damage and very little rideable. Appparently there is now also a £3 parking charge…….

    I went to Carron Valley yesterday, hadn’t checked any websites beforehand. As Graham said Runway is the only rideable section at the moment. The rest of the trails is blocked by fallen trees, there is so many you can’t even push past/climb over.

    There was a sign saying £3 parking fee although I didn’t see a ticket machine. But then maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough. 😉
