This is already on the Facebook page, but for anyone who missed it. A few of us hoping to ride a couple of mud free laps of the Cathkin trails this evening. start either 7 or 745 depending on what suits folks. Post up if you can make it – a nice change to Mugdock and good all weather surfaces 🙂

right, 7pm in the car park for anyone who can make it. Should get a couple of laps without desperate need for lights. Looking at weather I reckon trails will be dry and there isn’t ever any mud there anyway 🙂
Hi – I couldn’t make it tonight and the roadworks on the Erskine bridge might making getting to Cathkin mid-week a bit of a chore but I reckon this is a great option for evening rides when the weather is grim. By the way, last night’s Mugdock ride wasn’t too bad. We aimed for the forests and it was surprisingly grippy despite the recent wet weather.
hey Graham, a great wee ride, 3 of us out, plus probs another maybe 10 riders on the trail. I have ridden it heaps over the summer, but tonight was first fully dark laps and it’s quite different, definitely more techy and harder to hold the lines. I agree we should get there more – we did a few laps and bikes and kit was still spotless ! Added bonus for me is that its a 7min drive from home 🙂 not a place for solo night riding though..?.
