Last night we were talking about chew with edge 200.www.gpsies.com .TCX file make sure pc sees device that seemed to be my problem even though garminconnect plugin was ok.go on site and zoom in on map till you find area/route then export to device with tcx file you have to pick from a scroll down.Voila result.
ps// haven’t actually tried it out but it looks ok once you go in courses page.haven’t tried using site to import own route then travel on it at a later date either.
Hi Neil – great, thanks for this. I’ve downloaded the Garmin Connect software so will have a go at the rest of it next. If you’re looking for a smartphone GPS app with OS maps then give Viewranger a go. You need to buy credits to get OS maps but you get a lot of map for you moolah!
