I just realised that my work is having the Glasgow bank holiday (I didn’t know there was one!) on the 16th July. Does anyone else have the day off and want to do a decent away ride?
As a starting suggestion I was thinking about a ride round the Minch Moor in the Tweed Valley, starting from Innerleithan car park. About 40km all in, although there are tag ons or shortcuts available. If the rain keeps going the way it is we could just ride one of the trail centres in the area, or take up kayaking.

Still doing this ride. Looking good with this 3 day drought we’re having! Meet at Innerleithan 7Stanes car park at 9:30 for wheels rolling at 10. I’m meeting two others down there, hoping to do the Minch Moor ride out of the Phil McKane book so about 40km at a social pace.
