Hoping you all looking forward to the Oak Tree Inn weekend on the 28th Jan! There is still one space available in the bunkroom, £15 for bed and breakfast! If your interested let me know.
I was thinking if we hook up at the car park, usual spot ready to ride for 11am? Shelagh has offered to carry bags for any of you that don’t wish to be encumbered with additional luggage of straighners, hair dryers, party pants etc. So you can deposit your luggage with her and she will very kindly transport it there and back for us. Thanks Shelagh!
It shouldn’t take that long before we’re stopping off for the morning tea stop with fruit scones or for some the first pint of the day 🙂 Then its up and over conic hill for the descent down to the Oak Tree for a delicious pint of Ale in front of a big fire and let the banter, beer and the game of darts commence!
I am hoping to cycle from EK on the cross bike, (if I ever recover from Ardgarten ride on Sunday – am still suffering!) don’t know if anyone else was thinking of taking crossers?

Given the parking can be a nightmare in Milngavie on a Saturday morning I might head up earlier and plonk myself in Bullands for a pre-ride cuppa. If anyone else fancies that by all means join me.
