I used to live there albeit 10 years ago. There is hardly anything up there that links up. Beinn Lora in Benderloch is a push up ride down! Bridge of Orchy to Inverawe fisheries along River Orchy and Kings House Glencoe, tarmac down Glen Etive initially and then forest. Pops you out on the North side of Connel Bridge. You can also circumnavigate the island of Kerrera in Oban Bay. As I said nothing great. There is also a new sustrans route from Oban to Fort William suitable for cross bike/hybrid
Get the train to bridge of orchy, then ride back down Glen etive and Glen kinglass to taynuilt, and up over the cycle path back to Oban.
There used to be lots of DH stuff behind benderloch – Ben Cathro learned his stuff there, dunno if it’s still there though.
As said, NCR is a decent gentle ride, though if you go to FW you have to cycle on the A82 from corran ferry into FW which is not very nice. I’d suggest riding as far as Dragons tooth golf course at ballachuillish – the wee clubhouse has a ridiculously good array of cake!. Then ride back.
Road ride on mull?.
I’m sure Graham will be disgusted that I never suggested a single pub stop!……..

(Pub in taynuilt’s a winner!)
Greg, glad to see you redeemed yourself right at the end there, I was starting to worry! 😉
