Scottish Cyclocross – Round 2, Stirling on 16 October

This Sunday is the second round of the SCX series at Plean Park in Stirling. Only Ross, Lyndsey and myself were at the Irvine race but it was a belter, weather was better at the coast too – great spectator course it was too, if only to watch me, an OCD bike cleaning fetishist riding his shiney CX bike through some sand dunes…I am still having flashbacks! It is shaping up to have some fast and furious racing so worth a go at spectating or even riding, as you don’t need to be fast or furious… I’m not. You don’t even need a CX bike. Not long to Mugdock CX too, one hour of bike torture on a proper hardcore course…ideal for MTBers 🙂

About StephenM

Part of the paisley peleton, kidding on to be a cyclocrosser as it is more socially acceptable than a roadie?... not enough much dirt, but way too much tarmac :-) my bike is often found outside coffee shops around renfrewshire or gleaming on the trails when it should be proper muddy!
