snake in the grass

hello folks

not a bike story but still relevent.I went a walk with my missus and our youngest along the mentieths route on friday (brilliant riding weather /conditions).Anyway on the return i spotted an adder on the path and managed a few shots with the camera before it moved off and devoured a full grown stag antlers and all. This was good going for me as i am S%^t scared of snakes (Dawn….cows read me and snakes).once in the dead dry braken it was almost invisible so tread /fall off your bike carefully.

ps// I have uploaded too many pics the same how the hell do I get rid of the unwanted ones.

  1. I have often seen adders on the golf course at Aberfoyle. The chances of falling off your bike and landing in the bracken right next to one is probably not that high but pays to be aware. On the same topic, someone down south was bitten and suffered an allergic reaction recently – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-13177046.

  2. Yikes, those images are quite big – probably an idea to scale them down a bit before uploading as we only have a finite amount of space for media (although we can look into increasing that if we decide to use this as the club website, it costs a little).

To remove unwanted images, when you’re logged into the site, click on My Account (top left). Your WordPres dashboard should come up, and on the left you will see a link Media. Click on that, and you should get a list of images. Looks for yours, and you should be able to delete the ones that you don’t want from there.
