Sunday ride?

Is there a sunday ride planned? if so I would possibly head out, been too long since I rode an MTB. I hear trails are sodden, trail centre perhaps?

About StephenM

Part of the paisley peleton, kidding on to be a cyclocrosser as it is more socially acceptable than a roadie?... not enough much dirt, but way too much tarmac :-) my bike is often found outside coffee shops around renfrewshire or gleaming on the trails when it should be proper muddy!

  1. I’m hoping to get out, but I’ll need to back for around 1. Will probably need to be a local for me, any dry (for Glasgow) routes that aren’t Dumgoyne?

  2. I am heading to the GlenLoin loop near Arrochar with a couple of mates. welcome to come along. we will be leaving the tarbet station car park (ballheenan restaurant) at 9 and should be back at cars for about 12.30 ish its about 50 mins drive from glasgow. it has some fierce climbs and some sweet singletrack although half fireroad. the views around the Cobbler should be spectacular

  3. Hi Iain, this sounds good – dont fancy mugdock or glennifer as much too sodden, but I know these trails from walking and they are great. I should be there for 9am unless anything comes up. Cheers Stephen

  4. Excellent, see you there. my mobile is 07810 153666

  5. Iain,
Intend to make the ride tomorrow. See you at 9.

  6. Well 5 of us had an absolute blast round the Succoth Loop today. Some tough sections, but virtually no mud, and views from above the fog were spectacular.

  7. It was a joy to be on MTB again, really great wee loop and tough enough to hurt the legs… early finish meant I was back home for a trip to B&Q and some DIY, maybe not such a good thing! 🙂
