Aldi 2 bike stand for sale

Bought in error as it is not what I though, this is more of a storage stand that can also be used to work on bikes, but needs fixed to wall so rules it out of the spare room. Ideal for a garage or a room that has not just been decorated. It is unused, just built and then taken apart. Cost £30 but would take £20 if anyone wants it – they sold out really fast last month.

Here is the stand - bikes not included!

About StephenM

Part of the paisley peleton, kidding on to be a cyclocrosser as it is more socially acceptable than a roadie?... not enough much dirt, but way too much tarmac :-) my bike is often found outside coffee shops around renfrewshire or gleaming on the trails when it should be proper muddy!

  1. just a thought about the bike stand get the club to buy it using club FUNDS stick it against wall/fence at the bike wash do two at once.

  2. Would be a good idea, but stand is made of steel and powdercoated so not sure how long it would hold up to a pressure wash, I did consider fitting it to my fence. I think it is best suited to garage or a workshop / utility room – it is a great design, and if alloy would be even better for outdoor use.

    • yeh I know what you mean Stephen I’ve actually got one in my garage .It’s not fixed and is steady enough for hanging / working from with option for moving outside on sunny day tinkering. Sure if powder / black glossy coat got water under it it would rust like a 1980’s apollo rigid.
