It wasn’t an epic ride in distance, but the sun shone, the wind didn’t blow and the river crossing was refreshing. We chose to do the loop clockwise and after a lot of puffing (from me at least) to get to the top, the reward was a great, long downhill bash.
This is what I remember GMBC Sunday runs to be about. Good company, big hills (& everyone waiting for me to catch-up), sunshine, great views, fun descents. Thoroughly enjoyed my long overdue return to a GMBC Sunday run! Cheers guys for the good company (and where were the rest of you?)
Thanks for that John, it was a great day….not technical but a great blast.
Where we left you, we climbed up treated singletrack, then we were rewarded with a cracking fast descent to Lendrick carpark. From there, Chris and I found a fantastic walkers trail which had a mix of boardwalk and undulating singletrack trails. It dropped us back on the road beside the church at Brig o Turk for a coffee and cake. Shame you missed it, but we weren’t to know. How did the photos turn out?
