A lovely night for the select few that ventured out ! Ross and me where there at 745 but as he had forgotten his lights he headed off for a quick ride to maximise the daylight. So it was me, along with 2 new to the club riders, Steven and Christine. We met up after half an hour with Pete and Sanny and had a great couple of hours on mainly dry and dusty trails – beautiful night, and still quite warm at the end – here’s hoping this weather stays for a bit longer.
A bit of chat on the posible Arran day trip next Friday (29th) – if we can get a few more people up for it and the weather looks good I think it will be a go’er, so if you fancy it please post up, or mail me : iain.clow@googlemail.com.
Was there something really good on the telly last night? Crackin evening and a good ride with some of the usual ‘banter’. For those of you that didn’t come, you missed out!
I was out a bit earlier last night (still not confident enough to try a “night” ride) and it was glorious. I think I even noticed a couple of grains of dust on Riverside 😉
What sort of time does it currently get dark enough that lights are a good idea?
Noticed it was dark enough last night for lights at about 9pm. Mind you that was on a very clear evening.
I was down in Bristol getting a free meal…
It’s around half 8 – 9 o’clock that it gets dark enough for lights, although it’s getting later every day.
I was in Spain 🙂 Can’t make it this week but will be out next week onwards.
