Wed rides – dusty and tea and biccys

Well that was a blast.  6 of us out on the 745 and about 10 on the 7pm ‘beginners ride’ although seeing as Luke took them down flux it must have been a pretty experienced bunch.  We were back at club just before 10 as a couple of folk didn’t have lights, so in good time for a natter over tea and biscuits.  Trails were dry and dusty, probably as good as they ever get – shame it’s to rain tomorrow !

It’s great to see a good bunch out on a Wednesday, and particulalrly a few new faces , and getting back sharp allows best use to be made of the hall for a chat and cuppa.

great evening indeed -)

  1. Good ride indeed and a great pace – never ridden such good trail conditions at Mugdock – great to ride a full pelt and not slide out. Ideal to be off tarmac too!

  2. aye, it was a cracker indeed. I kept looking over my shoulder on Voodoo and you were still there on that darned Santa Cruz Hardtail ! – if I hadn’t shaken you off by the grassy bank the Orange was getting ebayed today !!! thankfully that didn’t happen -)

the trails were indeed as good as I can recall, hopefully this rain will just dampen the dust a bit……

  3. It was a good one!

I wasn’t expecting to get to have as good a play on the introductory ride but I was glad to see a good bunch out! 🙂
