When mountains and bikes collide

A couple of pics from Marky Mark, Shearer and I’s cheeky mountain ride yesterday to take advantage of blue skies, dry trails and a temperature in the 60’s – not bad for a Sunday ride in early March.

  1. Legendary cycling with near to perfect weather. Bet you didnt drive Sanny 🙂

  2. Kilbo path is insanely steep, I did it, sort of, a few tears ago as part of a STW weekender, with Glen Clova and Loch Muick on the sunday. Out of about 20 of us, only Jo Cardwell and Greig Brown rode that descent without stopping. That tells a tale!.

  3. MC was on that ride, if memory serves. Saw the pics. I prefer the carry up Corrie Fee as it cuts out all the road riding you guys had to do. The Kilbo Path is ace though not that steep compared to some of the other stuff round there such as Glas Alt off Lochnagar, Jocks Road and Corrie Fee. The latter is now on the must do list as some of the steep, exposed stuff looks pretty necky but in a good way. You just can’t beat Scotland when the weather is ace!
