I’ve entered as a solo. Will be bringing my daughters with me – who love TUTB providing it doesn’t rain. Likely to be staying over Sat night. Cheers, Simon Haslam

I will be there on friday with brother, look out for his grey passat estate (the cleanest car you will ever see!) hope to be there early afternoon – will head to pitch for camp GMBC and get the beach towels down! plan to take tent, fold up picnic bench, some disposable BBQs, and if possible get Kenny’s bro-in-law to camp close with his massive gazebo (provided he is riding) – the shelter is about size of two cars and with sides – ideal if it rains. Maybe take a few big groundsheets too.
We’re heading up in the morning (‘we’ being me plus two daughters and elder daughter’s boyfriend). Will hopefully park next to where Graeme Short from Peebles CC will camp – in the main car park – as Graeme’s daughter and my younger daughter are schoolmates. I’ve got club shirt ready and bike sorted. Riding solo single speed, slowly. Will stay Sat night (beer and charred burgers), looking forward to it very much. Cheers, Simon Haslam
I’m heading up on Friday and pitching a tent at Lochy Campsite (I need the shower). Although I will most likely spending most of my time at the main centre. I’m staying till the Sunday. If the trail is open on the Friday, I’m gonna try & put a lap in. I’ll also looking forward to it and it’s my first official race under GMBC. See y’all there. B
Be there Friday afternoon to pitch up at camp GMBC (slumming it rather than the usual ‘luxury’ lochay site!) should be a laugh though – will stay Saturday and head back on Sunday. Riding as a pair with brother and paid-up GMBCer – no jerseys though (wish we had a kit order in) so will need to create another identifier – Alpinebikes sticker on the leg? GMBC tattoo?
