So, last night was the first ever Tuesday night ride to enjoy the chance to ramraid the biscuit bin and have a post-ride cuppa in the hall. 13 of us set out along the start of the urban ride route before Jacqui, Simon and Sam turned back with a mixture of mechanicals and post-Christmas struggling. The happy band of 10 (including a couple of new faces, Josh & Kate, welcome to you!) continued up behind Bardowie and then into the Park/Craigallian area for a game of ride round the fallen trees before a run down Rosies and back in along the Westie to use the bike wash and get the kettle on. We were joined by Chris J at the hall for some chat about Trans Nepal, Passportes Du Soleil and the possibility of leaving empty McVitie’s Club wrappers on the table to wind up the Weight Watchers group due in on Wednesday a.m. (we didn’t; we tidied up like the house trained lot we are!)
Wenesday nighters – fear not, the biscuit bin was re-supplied with cookies!
Chris definitely needs to go to those camera classes!
