Hi All,
A date has been set for the annual GMBC BBQ! A chance to hang out, eat some meat and generally have a good time whilst fending off the midgees.
The annual BBQ is paid for out of club funds, so we need to know a rough idea of how many coming and how much food and drink to buy. Remember, you are also welcome to bring along family (wives, partners, kids etc). and, who doesn’t eat meat!!
Location still to be confirmed but it will either be at one of the outdoor BBQ areas near the Visitor Centre (already booked) or we will see if the Hall can accommodate us.
Start time: 5.30pm, so probably time for a ride beforehand.
End time: gates are shut at 9pm if we use the Mugdock Visitor Centre/you take your car…..

Hi All,
The BBQ will now take place at the Sports club from 5pm. The bar will be open with a couple of drinks for everyone. Food provided by the club.
We need final numbers by the end of the weekend, so if you still want to come, stick your name up. There are about 20 going so far….
Since I’m grounded and can’t do much about that I should show up 🙂

So it is looking like a great turn out tomorrow with about 30 folk coming.
As we are havin this at the sports club, and it is going to be raining, Dales has lent us their gazebo. Eilidh has kinldy offered to collect it and take it up to the Sports Club, but we could do with some others to help her with setting it up (the rest of the committee are doing other BBQ related tasks).
Can anyone make it to the sports club for about 5pm to get it set up please? Of course, we can’t ge tthe BBQ’s going in the rain until its up,and we can’t cook until coals hot, so this is to help us eat before 9pm!! Thank you!
The Met Office currently predict sunshine on Milngavie after 4pm – not that that necessarily means no rain, of course!
Alison and I will be at the BBQ. Sure Gav will have some chat from C2Z – Chamonix to Zermatt trip with Ride the Alps who are ace.
