Okay, some work has been done to find accommodation for this trip. At the moment there is around 20 people committed or have said they may want to come.
In order for us to find accommodation large enough for a group this size, we need to book it very soon. Therefore, can I ask you all to fill in this spreadsheet with the days you wish to come by Friday 23rd (this Friday).
If you are unsure, I’m afraid we will have to book for those committed or we won’t get anywhere. For those who do commit by Friday, it is expected that you will pay any deposit required, or find someone else to take your slot.
Sorry, for the time-scales on this but if we want to go, we’ve got to move fast or we’ll all be camping!!

Folks,
I see some folk have added their name to the spreadsheet as maybes, due to transport and cost.
For us to book somewhere we need confirmed numbers. All the hostels sleep different numbers of people and if we book somewhere that sleeps 16 based on those who have said they will come, then only 10 end up going, it makes it more expensive for everyone.
Also, if you put your name on this as going, you will need to pay a desposit regardless. Either myself or Dawn will need to pay around 20% of the total cost, so if you say you are coming by friday, and you don’t we will still need you to pay up!
At the moment, we have 2 provisional bookings for hostels- both are around £17 per person per night, but this may change slighlty depending on final numbers. It is very unlikely we will get anything cheaper than this!
If you need to share transport, please sort this out yourselves before friday to ensure you can
come.
We are trying to make this easy for everyone, by sorting it out, and really need your help by making sure you understand waht you are committing to by friday. Please take your name off if you have any uncertainties, otherwise, we will need to to pay a share of the deposit.
So, deadline friday- if you are on the spreadsheet, you will need to pay towards the deposit, no matter waht happens!!

Thanks for organising this guys. I’ve confirmed my place on the Spreadsheet. I’ll be driving up on the Friday and have space for one more plus bike if anyone is interested.

Hi folks – I’m really looking forward to this trip. Just to say I have space in my car for someone if required, or am happy to be a passenger and pay towards petrol cost if there is a space. It’s a long drive to pay petrol alone!
